Psalm 23
1. The Lord is my shepard; I shall not want.
2. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;
. . . . . He leadeth me beside the still waters.
3. He restoreth my soul;
. . . . He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
. . . . I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me;
. . . .Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
5. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;
. . . . . Thou annointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever and forever. Amen.

The Gift of God can never be destroyed by man.
Civilizations pass but praising of God in a heavenly manner would never cease.
By the Grace and Will of Almighty God and with the blessings of The Holy Synod in Addis Ababa,
Ethiopia; and the Prayers of my Sisters at Getesemani Monastery in Sebeta, Ethiopia;
we, two Ethiopian Orthodox Monks; His Grace Abuna (Archbishop) Ewostateos Gebre-Kristos and
Emahoy Hannah Mariam have a vision and Prayers to establish a Ethiopian Orthodox Christian
Monastery in Miami / Homestead, South Florida; with detached living, and teaching facilities for Ethiopian
Orthodox Monks in the USA. This property will be within an hour or two drive from the Miami Fl. urban
area. This is necessary to provide the necessary quiet and solitude.
We are engaged in on-going fund raising efforts to purchase the suitable property. so we may have a permanent place.
At the moment we are like Bahetawes / hermits, living and praying singularly. Please keep us in your prayers
Please contact us by e-mail if you have questions or if you would like to assist us in our Humble Efforts.
Thank You and May the Grace of God be with you all eternally
